Created by the First Nations Tax Commission, this policy sets out the requirements that must be met in financial administration by-laws enacted under subsection 83(1) of the Indian Act. This policy is used by the Commission in its review and recommendation for approval of First Nations’ financial administration by-laws. Provides guidance on the definitions and contents of each section.
